A: SmartStay Ex does not recognise faces, it just detects them, so it will work with any face.

SmartTimeout has been removed from SmartStay Ex for a number of reasons:\n
1. It wastes more battery\n
2. It can cause lag and wastes a lot of system resources\n
3. It is a dirty hack – the accessibility system was not intended for this type of feature\n
4. It causes "talkback" to be enabled on some devices\n
5. It does not work well when scrolling happens\n
6. It gets disabled after every update (this causes a lot of confusion)
